N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Farm Rescue, a nonprofit organization that provides planting, haying, hay hauling and harvesting assistance free of charge to farm and ranch families who have experienced a major illness, injury or natural disaster, is wrapping up preparations for its annual banquet.
This year’s event will take place on December 2nd in Fargo.
“The Farm Rescue Banquet is an opportunity to honor the many farm and ranch families assisted through the organization, as well as paying tribute to the volunteers and sponsors who make it all possible,” the organization states. “The second annual Farm Rescue Good Samaritan award will also be announced.”
The North Dakota-based nonprofit is also celebrating a service milestone this year, after assisting its 500th family in crisis. 2017 has been the busiest year on record for Farm Rescue, with volunteers going above and beyond to assist rural families with planting, haying and harvest, as well as delivering hundreds of loads of hay to ranchers in need through Operation Hay Lift.
“We welcome all to join us in celebration of our most successful year ever,” said Bill Gross, Founder & President, Farm Rescue. “Witness first-hand the transformation of crisis to calm through the personal testimonials of heroic farm and ranch families.”
