EDGELEY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – An Edgeley farmer, who has become famous for his plowed messages in a bean field, has sent out another message. This time, it’s to the U.S. Congress.

Gene Hanson has plowed a new message in his bean field North of Edgeley aimed at congress and the ongoing tax reform discussions.

“Middle income families, small business, factories and farmers need a tax break,” Hanson stated. “Also, get rid of the death tax. [I’ve] always supported any corporation that hired more people if they got a tax break. It’s always good for more jobs.”

His new plowed message reads “Congress Pass A Tax Reform”, indicating his support of the President’s planned tax reform.

Hanson gained national attention when he plowed a message aimed at the NFL and the kneeling protesters. His message “We Stand for the National Anthem” was covered by several national media outlets and was recognized by President Donald Trump.
