JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is thanking some local businesses following a donation that will help them with equipment.

According to the Police Department, a donation from Dr. Steve Looysen of Looysen I Care and Dr. Richard Qual with Qual Chiropractic will be used to equip officers with trauma medical kits and officer response emergency kits.

“[These] kits help render immediate aid in critical situations,” the department states in a post. “Dr. Looysen and Dr. Qual’s commitment to the safety of our community is greatly appreciated by all members of our department.”
