BUFFALO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Maple Valley/Enderlin fell behind early and couldn’t come back in their final game of the season last Friday. The Falcons fell 42-20 to the defending state champion EEK Thunder. With the loss MVE finished 3-5 overall and 2-5 in a tough region that featured 3 of the state’s best running backs and 2 of the best teams in Class A in Hillsboro/Central Valley and EEK. Head Coach Nathan Hoots feels that the state champion could come out of Region 1
Although they fell just short of their goal of making the playoffs in their first season in Class A, there were plenty of positives this season
The program graduates 9 seniors.
