N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two individuals were injured after their semis crashed on County Road 26 roughly seven miles west of Hannaford Tuesday evening.

North Dakota Highway Patrol Sgt. Tom Herzig reports that at around 4:43 PM, Patrick Kraemer, 60, of McHenry was traveling westbound and Taylor Rose, 29, of Wimbledon was traveling eastbound.

“Visibility prior to the crash was greatly reduced due to calm conditions holding road dust in the air,” Sgt. Herzig reports. “Both trucks entered the area of reduced visibility. Drivers were unable to evade the crash prior to impact. Both trucks and trailer combinations entered the north ditch and came to rest.”

Both men were taken by Cooperstown Ambulance to Cooperstown. Kraemer was flown to a Fargo Hospital by Sanford LifeFlight and Rose was flown to a Grand Forks Hospital by Valley Med Flight.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
