N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two local authors and historians will be hosting a local history chat tonight at 6 PM at the Alfred Dickey Library.

Keith Norman and Bruce Berg are both Jamestown community members who share a passion for the history of Jamestown the surrounding region. Tonight, they’ll be sharing some of the stories they’ve found with anyone who’s interested. Bruce says he’ll be talking about Ernie Gates wife, Betty.

Berg says Betty’s story is very detailed and one that everyone should hear about. Norman will be sharing stories in the news and focusing on how much different the news of today is.

The chat is part of the Friends of the James River Valley Library System’s Adult Programs, where adults can come and learn about specific topics and classes. The event will be free to anyone interested.
