N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  Senior Taylor Sabinash had nine kills to help the Thunder of Medina/Pingree/Buchanan beat the Bison of Barnes County North in Region III volleyball Thursday night 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-16).  MPB improves to 20-3 overall, BCN drops to 9-15.

The Thunder were also helped by Senior Halle Uehran with eight kills and two aces, Sophomore Megan Moser added seven kills.  For the Bison, Junior Clara Wieland had nine kills and Senior Kennedy Thompson had three kills and one stuff block, Freshman Ashley McFadgen had three kills and one ace.

Next up for MPB will be the Carrington Varsity Volleyball Tourney this Saturday, October 7th, next up for BCN will be Tuesday, Oct. 10th in Edgeley for a District V matchup with Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier.  The BCN vs. EKM match next week Tuesday will be the TED FM 98.3 match of the week broadcast, prematch about 6:45pm, first serve around 7pm.

The next TED FM 98.3 game of the week broadcast will be Friday night, Oct. 6th in Cooperstown for Class A football, Central Dakota hosting Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich.  Pregame at 6:35pm, kickoff at 7pm.
