N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The Maple Valley/Enderlin footbal team will need to beat two of the best teams in Class A, Oak Grove and EEK, in order to make the 2017 postseason. The Falcons extended their losing streak to 3 in an overtime heart breaker in Milnor last Friday.

Milnor/North Sargent kept MVE from a two point conversion in overtime that sealed their 36-34 victory. Sitting at 3-3 with the season down to its final 2 weeks coach Nathan Hoots says the teams fate is now in their hands

MVE’s playoff push begins Saturday in Fargo against Oak Grove. The strength of the 5-1 Grovers falls on running back Ben Hoggarth. The senior has rushed for over 1,300 yards and 17 touchdowns. Defense will need to get multiple guys on the football quickly to keep themselves in the game

Saturday’s game is homecoming for Oak Grove, kick off is at 2.
