N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Program awarded loans to two North Dakota cities in August and September 2017.

· Horace – $3,192,000 to finance construction of a lift station, sanitary sewer gravity mains and force mains to convey wastewater to the City of Fargo for treatment.

· Jamestown – $900,000 to finance improvements to the raker building at the wastewater treatment plant.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency provides part of the funding for the CWSRF Program, which offers below-market interest rate loans to political subdivisions for financing projects authorized under the Clean Water Act. CWSRF programs operate nationwide to provide the funding necessary to maintain and improve the infrastructure that protects our valuable water resources.
