N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Help for Hope & Healing (HHH) will have more funds to continue their mission in Stutsman County and surrounding counties.

The group was formed nearly 10 years ago and came together to provide a needed service to individuals traveling to appointments and treatments involving cancer. The referral-based program has continued to do this by receiving donations and holding fundraisers like their annual Quarter Craze in September.

HHH Founder Laurel Haroldson says the $7,685 raised will go on to purchase 50 gas cards that will then be given to individuals who need them.

Haroldson stated that thanks to “Let’s Talk About It” and NewsDakota.com, the program reached a bigger audience. Having reached Gackle, Carrington, LaMoure, Edgeley and others, they were also able to help some individuals in Valley City.

HHH member Beth Dewald says that one Valley City referral led to another, causing a ripple effect.
