N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – In 1987, fans of the book “The Princess Bride” were treated to the cinematic version.

Now, fans in the Jamestown area will have a chance to celebrate 30 years of the film. Temple Baptist Church in Jamestown will be holding a dinner and viewing of the movie “The Princess Bride” on October 9th.

John Lynch is helping to organize the event. He says the dinner will be $15 a piece and be served starting at 6:30 PM. From there, they’ll then start the movie at 7:30 PM. Lynch pointed out that the cost of the dinner is just to pay for the dinner and the movie viewing will be free.

Lynch says the night will consist of dinner, trivia and fun. He says they’ll also be encouraging fans to “dress up” for the occasion.

Deadline to register for the event is October 2nd. For more information, call 701-952–0822 or email office@jamestowntbc.org.
