(NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Department of Health has launched a new website dealing specifically with suicide issues.

According to a release, the suicide prevention website will display statewide events and resources, community suicide prevention events that may be occurring around the state, facts and statistics about suicide, and educational information.

Users can access the website at www.ndhealth.gov/suicideprevention.

Micki Savelkouls is the Suicide Prevention Program director with the ND Department of Health and said one of the goals of the website is to “raise awareness in the state of how to talk to people about suicide and give them the tools to do so.”
