JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown and St. Mary’s enter Friday nights game as two of the best defenses in Class AA football. Of course, the Saints have yet to allow a point in the 2017 season. The Jays are averaging 11.5 points against in their four games.
On paper the advantage seems to be with the top-ranked Saints who have been able to score and stop the opposition. This will be the toughest challenge of the year for the Jays defense as the Saints come in averaging 42 points per game offensively.
The two teams haven’t met since 2008 when Jamestown won 36-19 and then St. Mary’s moved to Class AA.
