N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Individuals in the area lost their phone service after a CenturyLink fiber cable was cut near Eckelson Tuesday morning.
According to CenturyLink, some telephone services had been cut to customers in the Jamestown, Valley City and Carrington areas.
The CenturyLink’s official statement stated, “Technicians are onsite performing an investigation. We apologize for any inconvenience this created for our customers.”
The line was cut after a contractor installing fiber cable for another company cut the line while digging. Technicians are currently investigating and repairing the issue.
