N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Nearing 100 years as part of the Jamestown community, St. John’s Academy has provided private, Catholic education for thousands of kids.

They’ll now be raising money to continue providing scholarships for students and conducting general maintenance of the school for the 27th year.

The HOPE (Helping Offer Private Education) Dinner will be held on October 7th at the Zebedee Center in Jamestown.

Tracy Hunt is the committee chairperson for the event. She pointed out that the event raises well over $100,000 for students attending St. John’s Academy.

Katie Ryan-Anderson is also a part of the committee. She says the event is crucial in providing options for parents who may want to enroll their kids in the school.

The night will feature food, handmade items by the kids, entertainment, and auctions. Deadline to purchase tickets for the event is September 15th and the cost is $75. All funds will stay local with the academy.
