(NewsDakota.com) The two-time defending Class B volleyball State Champions from LaMoure-Litchville/Marion improved to 8-0 on the 2017 season after a 3-1 victory against Oakes Thursday night in both team’s District 5 opener.

LLM won by scores of 25-18, 18-25, 25-9 and 25-16. The Loboes registered 20 kills from Anna Holen, while Kindra Hamlin added another 12. Oakes had a team high 12 kills from Nicole Schmitz with Marisa Garza adding another six.

Next up for both teams is competing at the Central Cass Tournament at Northern Cass High School on Saturday.
