JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Addiction Counselors Association (NDACA) is celebrating the month of September as Recovery Month.

NDACA’s mission is to lead, unify and empower addiction focused professionals in the state to achieve excellence through education, advocacy, knowledge, standards of practice, ethics, professional development and research. Angie Reidburn is a member of NDACA from Jamestown.

Reidburn says the upcoming annual Recovery Walk is held across the nation and Jamestown would be holding their own on September 7th.

The event is entirely free and will share information on where individuals can get addiction recovery help as well as celebrate those who are getting that help. The event will be held at McElroy Park this Thursday.
