N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Arts Center is looking for the community’s thoughts on events at the newly dedicated Hansen Arts Park.

The park was officially marked as finished during the first ArtSpark Festival on August 25th. Executive Director Larry Kopp says the ceremony and festival had a wonderful turnout.

Kopp says they will be looking at hosting another festival in 2018 and will begin by creating a task force this fall to find out what the community would like to see during it.

During the Community Block Party tonight, Kopp says they will have a booth set up in front of the Hansen Arts Park and would like residents to stop by and fill out a short questionnaire on what events they would like to see in the green space.

Kopp says they will look to hold the festival sometime in July next year.
