N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Residents of Jamestown and other communities spent part of their afternoon touring the newest facility in Jamestown.
The new $28.6 million Two Rivers Activity Center opened its doors for an open house Wednesday, the first of four planned open houses this week.
TRAC Facilities Manager Amy Walters reports that while the open house showcased a nearly finished facility, construction was still underway for some more aesthetic things.
Jamestown Schools Superintendent and TRAC Board Member Rob Lech said that it was rewarding to see years of work and planning result in the Two Rivers Activity Center.
Lech says right now, they’ll celebrate Phase I reaching its conclusion September 5th, but work was still very much active on Phase II of TRAC.
The open house for TRAC continues Thursday from 3PM to 6PM and both Friday and Saturday from 9AM to 12PM.
