N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Carrington Cardinals Varsity Football team is gearing up for the 2017 fall season as practice started last week Wednesday.
The Cardinals, up until this year, usually held their practices on a wide open grass field located just north and east of the game field. But due to construction of a new gymnasium and elementary in that area, the team will have practices and games on the regular game field at Stadium 76 and probably will for at least the next two seasons, as construction is expected to finish up in the fall of 2018.
Last year, the Cardinals finished at 4-5 overall and made the first round of the playoffs, but lost to Langdon.
