N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A project several years in the making will celebrate its completion at the end of August.
The Jamestown Art’s Center has worked tirelessly to fix and renovate the once empty lot along 1st Avenue. The result is the Hansen Arts Park. Jamestown Arts Center Executive Director Larry Kopp says work was completed this past weekend on the boulder pavilion.
Kopp says the park signifies a new chapter for them and Downtown Jamestown. The free festival will span two days on August 25th and 26th and will include live music, theater, food, contests and artists.
Kopp says they hope the Arts Park is fully utilized by the community now that it is complete and a part of the downtown area.
