N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  Post 25 led 5-3 going into the bottom of the seventh inning, but Thompson scored two runs to tie it and send it into extra innings.  Later, Post 181 sent five batters to the plate in the bottom of the ninth and scored one run to win it.  With one out, clean-up batter Trey Larimer hit a walk-off sacrifice fly RBI scoring Cadyn Schwabe from third for the win.  Post 25 ends their bid for a 4-peat and their season at 27-8, and in fourth place.  

Braxton Hewitt worked eight and a third innings, he reached his total pitch count at 120 and had to exit the game after Cadyn Schwabe reached on an error.  Drew Page worked the next three batters, Marcus Hughes hit a single, Calen Schwabe was walked to load the bases and then Larimer hit the sac fly RBI to win in in the bottom of the ninth.  Getting the victory on the mound was Josh Sem, working an inning of relief for starting pitcher Hunter Ness, who worked eight innings and a no-decision.  

Thompson is now 27-5 overall and 4-0 in the State B, and will play in the championship game on Sunday, July 30th at 2:30pm against the winner of Nelson County/Kidder County.  Post 181 will have to be beat twice for either NC or KC to win the championship.
