N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A special meeting was held prior to the Jamestown Finance & Legal committee meeting Tuesday involving the city share for a planned Industrial Park by the Jamestown Regional Airport.
JSDC Business Development Director Corry Shevlin stated that shovel ready land was disappearing, but that meant great opportunity for the area.
The project would look at around 87 acres of land along Highway 20 that would then be developed into industrial and aeronautical use lots. Councilman Dan Buchanan was in full support of the project.
The city unanimously approved the 90/10 split with Stutsman County and will fund around $2,562.752.44 of the total $2.8 million project.
