N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Severe storms rocked portions of the state last Friday afternoon and evening.

Foster County Emergency Manager Jess Earle spent her time capturing photos and gathering information on damage in several parts of Foster County and surrounding communities.

Earle says some communities were hit harder than others. Glenfield was one of them.

Earle says while she doesn’t have any damage estimates, there were several unfortunate incidents that occurred during the storms.

“We had a semi tip over on Highway 200 east of Glenfield,” she reported. “A horse also died due to injuries sustained after getting trapped inside a collapsed barn.”

The Foster County Emergency Manager says individuals should document all the damage they find and submit them to her office so they can send it to the state.

Earle says it was devastating seeing the destruction left by the storm in the area. Below are some pictures courtesy of Jess Earle from around Foster County.
