CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A blessing ceremony was held at the Sheyenne Care Center’s new chapel in Valley City on July 20th.

Chaplin Virginia Davy said the Chapel of Saint Raphael will seat 100 people. She said it wouldn’t have been possible without the support from this community.

Craig Christensen is the CEO of the Sheyenne Care Center. He said the new chapel is the center of the facility. He also gave a construction update of the three phase project.

He said the estimated completion date of the $12.5 million construction project may take another 12 months.

Once completed it will be about the 5th largest facility of its kind in the state of North Dakota with 170 beds and a staff of 260 employees.
