N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has compiled and released the call log for the days between July 6th and July 20th.

Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther reports that roughly 10 calls came through in that time period. Calls ranging from a brief fire at Knights of Columbus and possible extrication from a vehicle. You can find the full run report below courtesy of the Jamestown Fire Department.

Call No. 144 July 7th, 2:46PM, ready squad responded to 2619 8th Ave SW, Cricket Wireless, to investigate smoke smell. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire and smoke was detected. Cause-smoking materials between outside wall and inside wall. Time out 20 minutes.

Call No. 145 July 11th, 8:45AM, ready squad responded to 114 12th Ave NE, Eventide, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-burnt food. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 20 minutes.

Call No. 146 July 12th, 3:36PM, ready squad responded to 610 7th Ave NE, U of Jamestown, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-accidental alarm activation. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 15 minutes.

Call No. 147 July 12th, 4:00PM, ready squad responded to 2605 Circle Drive, NDSH-Lahaug Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-accidental alarm activation. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 20 minutes.

Call No. 148 July 16th, 12:15PM, ready squad responded to 112 6th Ave SE, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-cooking. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 20 minutes.

Call No. 149 July 16th, 5:50PM ready squad responded to 2404 Circle Drive, NDSH-Tompkins Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-cooking, fire alarm was reset. Time out 30 minutes.

Call No. 150 July 18th, 7:03PM, fire department responded to 519 1st Ave South, Knights of Columbus Hall, to a report of a fire. Fire was out upon arrival of fire units, firefighters extracted smoke and investigated. Cause-cooking. No injuries reported. Time out 30 minutes.

Call No. 151 July 19th, 1:59PM, ready squad responded to 1009 9th St SE, Single Family Dwelling, to check for carbon monoxide. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0 ppm was detected. Cause-faulty detector. Time out 25 minutes.

Call No. 152 July 19th, 4:25PM, ready squad responded to 904 4th Ave NE, Single Family Dwelling, to check for carbon monoxide. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0 ppm was detected. Cause-faulty detector. Time out 20 minutes.

Call No. 153 July 19th, 8:44PM, fire department heavy rescue was dispatched to I-94 Mile Marker 269, to a report of person/s needing extricated from vehicle. Units were cancelled enroute, person/s were able to get out. Cause-vehicle accident. Time out 25 minutes.

Call No. 154 July 20th, 9:55AM, fire department hazmat responded to 933 3rd Ave NW, Single Family Dwelling, to a report of a strong chemical smell in the structure. Firefighters used fans to ventilate the structure. Cause-chemical was sprayed outside and entered the basement. No injuries reported. Time out 20 minutes.
