N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota Highway Patrol Troopers conducted a sobriety checkpoint on Friday, June 30th in Jamestown and have now posted the results.
According to Sgt. Tom Herzig, a total of 127 vehicles passed through the checkpoint. Only one driver was evaluated for impairment. Several other citations were issued to other drivers who passed through the checkpoint. They include:
-35 citations
-31 warnings
-1 Minor in possession arrest.
Checkpoints are held to stop impaired drivers from driving.
