N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Jamestown scores the first five runs of the game and survives a Carrington comeback winning 6-5 on Friday night in a scheduled nine inning game. Jamestown improves to 4-6 overall, Carrington drops to 11-4 overall.
Ryder Lunzman was the winning pitcher, working the last three innings, he was the fourth pitcher of the game for Jamestown. Ben Friebel starting and worked two innings, Nolan Kratz worked two innings and Chris Erickson also worked two innings. Taking the loss was Payton Smith, who worked in three innings of relief for starting pitcher Kyle Leapaldt. Trey Rosenau and Drew Page each had three hits for Carrington, Rosenau had three singles, Page had two doubles and a single and three RBI. Chris Erickson and Oscar Weber had three hits as well for Jamestown. Erickson had three singles including two RBI, Weber had three singles.
Post 25 would load the bases in the bottom of the ninth with the first three batters, but Lunzman would retire the next three to secure the victory.
