N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 2017 Economic Development Association of North Dakota (EDND) Summer Conference is being held June 21-23 at the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton.

The conference, hosted by Wahpeton Economic Development and EDND, brings together economic developers from across the state to network, exchange ideas, and participate in educational sessions.

“This conference provides a great opportunity for Wahpeton to highlight its community and successes, while providing training and networking opportunities for those involved in economic development across the state,” says EDND President Connie Ova.

The conference, themed “The Fraternal Order of OARS: Opportunity, Attraction, Retention and Stability,” will include sessions about entrepreneurship and networking and will close with legislators reflecting on the 65th Legislative Session.

EDND promotes the creation of new wealth throughout North Dakota through the development of programs that provide targeted business support and quality of life amenities. EDND’s membership includes professional economic development organizations and other businesses or organizations with a strong interest in economic development in North Dakota.
