(NewsDakota.com)- The lights went out in Oakes as well as Verona on Tuesday morning for a little less than a half hour.

Power went out around 9:25 a.m., and the lights came back on around 9:50 a.m. According to Otter Tail Power Company, the issue was related to a transmission line that went offline, and crews currently have the area isolated, and are investigating the cause of the outage.
