N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Enderlin Legion Baseball won a back and fourth game in Casselton 10-9 Tuesday night. The Railcats are now 7-1 and return to region play Thursday with a road trip to Fairmount.
Post 221 scored 3 runs in the 1st inning and 2 in the 5th. Casselton had a big 6th inning where they took the lead with 6 runs. Enderlin tied it in the 7th but fell behind after surrendering runs in the 7th and 8th. Trailing 9-6 in the top of the 9th The Railcats scored 4 runs with RBI hits from Nathan Amerman, Pete Lindgren and Jade Pulkrabek.
Brandon Utke pitched 5 innings for the win, he allowed 7 hits with 2 earned runs with 4 Ks. Jorun Hamre recorded the final 3 outs to get the save. Hamre went 4 for 5 with an RBI. Lindgren, Utke and Amerman each had 2 RBI.
