N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The severe weather is in the forecast over much of North Dakota.

The National Weather Service says the greatest threat for severe storms is in southeastern North Dakota.

Grand Forks National Weather Service meteorologist Brad Hopkins said the storm will bring strong straight line wind.

Forecaster Ryan Knutsvig said the storm will also produce hail 2 inches in diameter and heavy torrential rain at times. He said the best chance for tornadoes will be from Lisbon, North Dakota east into West Central Minnesota.
