N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown man pled guilty Monday to three counts of child pornography.

Authorities say 55-year-old Alexander McManus was turned in by his wife after she found a cell phone with child pornography on it.

McManus was questioned by police and then turned over a flash drive that contained thousands of images of children engaged in sex acts, some as young as two years old.

McManus pled guilty to one Count of Receipt and Distribution of Materials Containing Child Pornography and two Counts of Possession of Materials Containing Child Pornography.

This case was investigated by the Jamestown Police Department and the North Dakota BCI.
