CITY (NewsDakota.com) Police arrested 52-year-old Lawrence Eugene Crowe of Valley City on charges of Gross Sexual Imposition on Monday in Valley City.

Police say Crowe allegedly admitted to sexual contact with an 8-year-old girl during a preliminary police interview on Monday.

The crime report filed with the Barnes County State Attorney’s office says the 8-year-old woke up to find the man touching her in a sexual way. Crowe faces 20 years in prison if convicted in this case.
