CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Hundreds of firefighters from around the state will be in Dickinson this weekend for the annual Firefighters Convention.

Valley City Fire Chief Gary Retterath said that he and others with the local department will be promoting the convention coming to Valley City in 2018. He said the last time Valley City hosted the event was in 2010.
