(NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota’s Republican Presidential Caucus is Tuesday, as part of what the national Republican party is calling Super Tuesday.
Ten states either have Republican primaries or caucuses on Tuesday, putting more than 400 delegates up for grabs across the nation in the Republican Presidential nomination race.
In North Dakota, 28 delegates will be distributed Tuesday. Caucus voting opens at 5:30 p.m. in each location and closes at 8 p.m. Voters must present a driver’s license or other form of accepted identification. Any Republican who is a North Dakota resident and will be 18 years old by Nov. 6, is eligible to vote in the caucuses.
A complete list of caucus locations can be found at www.ndgop.org/caucus. Results will be posted there on Tuesday night.
In Jamestown, voting will be at the Gladstone Inn. In Valley City, voting is at the Valley City Town and Country Club. Locally, there are also voting sites in Enderlin, Oakes, Edgeley, Carrington, LaMoure, Medina and Montpelier.
Candidates Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney have all visited North Dakota to campaign prior to Tuesday’s caucus.
