Jonasson, age 71, of Valley City, ND, died Wednesday, May 3rd at Mercy Hospital in Valley City.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 19th at the Skyline Villa in Valley City.  Inurnment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Valley City, ND.

Mary June Stoppleworth, the daughter of Kenneth and Gladys Stoppleworth, was born July 14, 1945 in Jamestown, ND.  She grew up and attended school in the Jamestown, ND area.  She later married Jay Jonasson.  Mary lived at the Skyline Villa in Valley City, ND until the time of her death.

Mary is survived by her daughter Angie (Bruce) Koehne; two grandsons, Chance and Alec Koehne, all Phoenix, AZ; her brother, Lorin Stoppleworth, Mesa, AZ; and her ex-husband, Jay Jonasson, Valley City, ND.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Jonathan Quincy Bjornson, one sister, Jackie Diemert, and one brother, Quinton Stoppleworth.
