N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A late morning call had Jamestown Rural Fire Department crews respond to Eldridge.

At around 10:51 AM, Fire Chief Ben Maulding reports that he and his crews were called to a grain dryer fire at the Country Grain Co-op.

“The elevator crews had the fire out when we arrived,” Maulding explains. “[There] was a couple of hot spots in the dryer. Grain was emptied from those two locations. There was minimal damage to the dryer.”

No injuries were reported.
