FARGO  (NewsDakota.com)–After two close calls with the Hi-Liners this season, the West Fargo Packers pulled out the dominance early in the third meeting.

The Packers used a 36-6 run to reverse an early deficit, on their way to a rout of Valley City 74-47 in the quarterfinal of the East Region tournament in West Fargo.

Valley City led 10-6 early, but relentless pressure by West Fargo forced the Hi-Liners into multiple turnovers, and the Packers took advantage of their extra opportunities.  The lead would be stretched to nearly 40 points before a late run by the Hi-Liners cut the deficit.

Allyson Suhr led the Hi-Liners with 14 points.  Jenna Jacob and Claire Olson each had 10.  Cassidy Thorson and Lexi Lennon each had 16 for the Packers.

The Hi-Liners will play at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow in the loser-out round of the East Region tournament at the Fargo Civic Memorial Auditorium.  The broadcast will be heard on KOVC-AM 1490, with pregame coverage beginning at 1:50 p.m.
