N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Farm Rescue is at it again. This time, they’re helping a farmer with planting in Davenport, North Dakota.

The non-profit organization that assists farm families in need will be helping Bob and Cheryl Baumgarten Thursday afternoon.

“Bob Baumgarten recently suffered a massive heart attack and is currently receiving care in a Fargo hospital,” Farm Rescue announces in a release. “We are honored to be able to help the family plant their soybeans during the 2017 planting season.”

Since it’s inception in 2006, more than 400 families have been helped by Farm Rescue. The organization’s mission is to help farmers and ranchers who have experienced a major illness, injury or natural disaster.

They have helped families in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska and Iowa.
