N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is warning residents of a new convicted sex offender residing within the city of Jamestown.
Robert William Lilley Jr., 23, is 6’01”, weighs 325 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. He currently resides at 2605 Circle Drive in a ND State Hospital Halfway House. Lilley Jr. has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee.
Lilley was charged with Sexual Assault in 2010 when he was 16 years-old and babysitting two young boys. He exposed himself to them and tried to anally penetrate one of the children, who was 8. Lilley continued to act out sexually while in residential treatment and was finally terminated from the program.
Lilley is not currently wanted at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is meant for public safety only and should not increase fear in the community. Any attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten an offender will be turned over for prosecution.
