N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  The Carrington Cardinals Varsity Track and Field Team traveled to Hazen on Tuesday, April 11th for the Bison-Miners Track and Field Meet.  The girls finished in first place with 121 points, runner-up was Dickinson Trinity with 116, the host and defending State Champs, Hazen, finished in third with 84.7, fourth was Bismarck Shiloh Christian with 50 and rounding out the top five was Watford City with 49.7.  Sophomore Amanda Jarrett qualified for the State Meet in the 3200 meter run with a time of 11:58:57.

For the boys, first place went to Des Lacs-Burlington with 105.5 points, second was Watford City with 90, third place Dickinson Trinity with 88, fourth New Town with 86 and fifth was Carrington with 56 points.   Here are the individual results for the Cardinals:  (first place in bold)
