N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Carrington School Board had a full schedule for their April meeting.

Superintendent Brian Duchscherer joined Greg Grenz on KDAK AM 1600 to give updates on school happenings. Duchscherer reported that spring typically brings personnel changes and that the Carrington School District had a few.

Duchscherer reported that with the resignations more hiring will take place. One hiring recently was for a fourth grade teacher.

Construction is continuing in the district as well. Duchscher pointed out that a row of trees had been moved near the school and they would also be moving their bus shop.

Local Track and Field events will also not be held in Carrington this year because that is where the bus shop will be placed.

School will be dismissed for summer this May. You can hear a full with Brian Duchscherer below.
