N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Work continues towards a summer completion on First Community Credit Union’s Administrative Building construction.
The new expansion, which includes an added 3,000 square feet, will also feature a new look for the company. After purchasing the former Rental Store connected to their building, work began immediately.
“The plan is for the operations and member relations departments to relocate to the new space,” the company says in a release. “It addition, the vendor entrance will locate from the east to west side. It will feature a more modern look incorporating stonework.”
The administrative building supports the Credit Union branches in various departments including operations, human resources, loan processing, accounting, and marketing.
“When we moved to the administrative building nearly ten years ago, the goal was to streamline processes and to increase efficiency,” said Steve Schmitz, President and CEO. “Since then our Credit Union has grown exponentially and this expansion allows us to better serve our growing membership base now and for years to come.”
