N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Members of the Jamestown Community Foundation presented a check to the Jamestown Fire Department to support expenses for required training of Fire Chief Jim Reuther and Search & Rescue Dog Chloe.

The Jamestown Community Foundation provides a convenient and efficient tax-exempt donation to fund worthy causes. The funds donated are put into an endowment fund that’s been established to assist in numerous causes around the community.

$5000 was given to Chief Reuther and Chloe from members Paulette Ritter and Joan Morris. Both Chief Reuther and Chloe will be traveling to various locations over the next several months to ensure the area has a qualified Search & Rescue team.
