N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown woman has been charged in Southeast District Court after she struck a resident, home and gas meter March 15th, causing several homes to be evacuated.
Documents show Karen Kinzler, 58, has been charged with Class C felony aggravated assault, domestic violence and reckless endangerment. She also faces a Class B misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief.
Kinzler was arrested after she allegedly struck a woman with a car in the driveway of a home in Southwest Jamestown. The car also struck a house and damaged a gas line meter. The victim suffered injuries and was treated and released at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
Documents state that Kinzler told police she thought the car was in reverse when she accelerated. Her next court appearance has not been scheduled.
