I. Williams, 90, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 15, 2017 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.
Zola was born to Glenn and Agnes (Johnson) Reardon at Hathaway, Montana on April 27, 1926. The family came to North Dakota when she was a small child and she attended rural Medina schools. Zola graduated in 1944 attended teachers’ college in Valley City to receive a teacher’s certificate and then taught school. She married Timothy M. Williams on June 28, 1946. They made their home on the Williams farm and had two sons: Dwight and Steven. They retired from farming in 1982 and continued to live on the family farm. Timothy passed away on August 8, 2003 and Zola moved to Jamestown a few years after.
Zola is survived by her son, Steven (Anna) of Santa Fe, NM; granddaughter, Elise (Jeff Nicpon) and great-granddaughter, Avery Grace; brother, Wayne (Sue) Reardon; daughter-in-law, Vicki of Fargo; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Timothy; son, Dwight; and brothers, Vernon and Leland.
Funeral Service: 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Rev. Erik Weber officiating.
Visitation: None scheduled.
Interment: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
