N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Stutsman County Extension Agent Alicia Harstad will present information on the importance and benefits of pollinator insects during a James River Valley Library System seminar.

The James River Valley Library Adult Programs have brought an abundance of different topics of discussion that are free to the community. On Tuesday, March 21st, Harstad will present her information for individuals interested in learning what garden plants can benefit pollinators. The event will also allow participation in the season opening of the Stutsman County Seed Library.

Hardstad has been the Stutsman County Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent for two and a half years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Crop and Weed Science and a Master’s degree in Plant Science. Refreshments will be provided by Jamestown Community Gardens.
