D.C. (NewsDakota.com) – Senator John Hoeven said Julie Schaff Ellingson, Executive Vice President of the North Dakota Stockmen’s Association will be his guest at President Donald Trump’s Joint Congressional Address tonight.

Hoeven said, “Agriculture is North Dakota’s largest industry and a central part of our nation’s economy,” He add,“Our farmers and ranchers do a tremendous job providing food, fuel and fiber to meet our needs and Julie is a great representative of this good work. I look forward to the President’s address and hearing more about his efforts to reduce the regulatory burden on our economy and empower our nation’s businesses, including our farmers and ranchers, to grow and thrive.”

Julie and her husband Chad run a seed stock business on their fourth generation family ranch near St. Anthony, ND. The Ellingson’s have five children, who are also active in the business. Additionally, Julie works with CommonGround to help educate consumers on food and farming.
