N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two individuals from Oakes and two from Valley City face a combined total of 28 charges, including 24 felonies, stemming from their arrests in Oakes last weekend related to the production and use of methamphetamine.

Oakes police apprehended 40 year old Keith Duane Emerson and 39 year old Cristie Mae Baddgor of Oakes, along with 28 year old Beth Danielle Gonzales and 31 year old Benjerman Russell Klimpel of Valley City at an Oakes residence on the evening of February 18.

Emerson faces the most charges, with 12, including 11 felonies. Gonzales faces six counts, five of which are felonies, and Baddgor and Klimpel each face five charges, four of which are felonies.

The group faces counts including possession and manufacturing of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, in addition to endangerment to a child. Officials say a child was in the residence at the time of the arrests.

All four are presently in the Barnes County jail in Valley City. Emerson’s bond has been set at $25,000, while the other three have had their respective bonds set at $10,000.
